Sheryl Underwood is she is an American comedy and television star who is best known for her role as the presenter on The Talk, a popular talk show broadcast on daytime television. Born in Arkansas She was raised at Little Rock and Atwater. Sheryl was raised by the midst of a challenging family. She spent the majority of her childhood watching over her sick sister Frankie. As a teenager, she experienced many issues with her mother. Sheryl said that at one time, her mother stabbed her son's father as she got close to her. At the time of her college graduation, Sheryl joined the military. Her passion for the military was comedy. In 1989 she was the first woman in history to reach the top of the Miller Lite Comedy Search contest. In 1992, she made her TV debut with regular appearances on the HBO show Def Comedy Jam. In 2000 she appeared as a host on the TV series Oh Drama! Then in 2011, she started participating in The Talk as co-host. Additionally, she's performed fictional roles on television shows such as Bulworth Nikki and Beauty Shop.
