Dolly-Parton
Dolly Parton was born on January 19, 1946, at Locust Ridge Tenn. She lived alongside 12 other kids. Her imaginative mind helped her escape from the pressures of daily life. Before learning how to read or write, Dolly Parton was creating her own songs. At the age of eight, she bought her first electric guitar. She started singing at a Knoxville Tenn Radio Station. The following time, Gold Band Records was a small independent record label. As a student in high school, she made her name in the local community, yet she yearned for a larger stage. The year 1964 was the day after her high school graduation, she relocated to Nashville. Dumb Blonde was her first single to reach the top of the charts on Monument Records. Porter Wagoner, a syndicated show on TV at the time, was in search for a singer on his show. Parton began her career in the year 1967 she signed with RCA Records by 1968, and was a part of the Grand Ole Opry. In 1974, she quit Wagoner's show due to the commercial success of her solo songs like Joshua Coats Of Many Colors or Jolene was surpassing their joint albums. Parton, after the split of their collaboration with Wagoner she wrote the song I Will Always Love You and made it to Number. The first time it made it to the top spot was in 1974.
